Meet Meghan

A smiling woman peeking over a large stack of colorful folded fabrics, with a vibrant quilt hanging in the background.

Little did my parents know, when they gave me a sewing machine and a jelly roll one Christmas so my mom could finish her quilts without me borrowing her machine, that they were sparking a lifelong passion. What began with pajama pants and costumes grew slowly, nurtured by my mother’s patient teaching, the encouragement of friends, and countless small lessons learned along the way.

For years, my quilts emerged in a gentle rhythm—one every year or so—as I built confidence and began to develop my own voice. Gradually, inspiration and color palettes became clearer, and I discovered my affinity for the bold, high-contrast fabrics of Tim Holtz and Tula Pink.

History has always fascinated me, and when I began to view it through a quilter’s eye, I saw patterns and images waiting to be reimagined—threads of the past woven into the present. I’m not entirely modern, nor fully traditional. I am a modern traditional quilter, blending heritage with innovation, and expressing my story one quilt at a time.

More to come!

I am in the process of pattern testing my designs prior to placing them up for sale. Please visit my pattern testing page if you are interested in testing my future patterns.
